I love classic pancake houses. And Checkers here in the Schaumburg IL does not disappoint. First time here, and had a classic 2-eggs scrambled, hash browns and bacon. You can get this with toast, couple of pancakes or a crepe. I opted to upgrade to their premium 2-crepes with fresh strawberries. The crepes were superb. Probably a lot for one person, but I finished it all…lol! The place is very clean and shiny. Quiet around 8am on a weekend but people started pouring in close to 9am. If you order coffee, a server will replenish it regularly. Very nice/polite people working here. Service was regular and quick. Ample parking. Easy to get in and out. Highly recommended.

This is my go to breakfast place by far! I have been coming here for years but recently a lot more often and every time it’s great! The customer service is amazing as well as the atmosphere. My go too are definitely the nutella crepes or the country skillet. Their soups and pancakes are also amazing. 10/10 would recommend checkers!

Went here for breakfast for the first time today! Food was perfect. Banana Nutella French Toast was delicious with the perfect amount of bananas & Nutella. The omelette & pancakes were just as delicious. The restaurant is so pretty inside & spotless. Our waitress couldn’t have been nicer, along with every other person who works there. So happy we stopped for breakfast, this definitely will be one of our regular spots going forward!
